CLEARFIELD – Clearfield County District Attorney, William A. Shaw, Jr., announced Clearfield County's Fugitive of the Week for the week of July 18, 2016.
Shaw identified the Fugitive as Candy Duprez, age 37, of Wildwood Lane, Morrisdale, Pennsylvania.
Shaw stated that Duprez is wanted for failure to appear at Sentencing Court on June 14, 2016, at which time a warrant was issued for her arrest.
On October 8, 2015, Trooper Michael Moskel of the Pennsylvania State Police, Clearfield Barracks, filed a Criminal Complaint charging Duprez with: 1) Simple Assault, M2; and 2) Harassment, S.
An Affidavit of Probable Cause filed by Trooper Moskel states that on May 17, 2015, the Pennsylvania State Police, Clearfield Barracks, received a report of an assault that had recently occurred. Trooper Moskel subsequently met with both the victim and Duprez and interviewed each separately. Upon investigation, it was determined that Duprez had struck the victim several times.
