FOW – TODD VERESHACK
CLEARFIELD – Clearfield County District Attorney, William A. Shaw, Jr., announced Clearfield County’s Fugitive of the Week for the week of January 3, 2017.
Shaw identified the Fugitive as Todd Vereshack, age 32, of Emma Street, Irvona, Pennsylvania.
Shaw stated that Vereshack is wanted for failure to appear at a Preliminary Hearing held on November 23, 2016, at which time a warrant was issued for his arrest.
On October 24, 2016, Officer Joseph Witerhite of the Decatur Township Police Department, filed a Criminal Complaint charging Vereshack with: 1) Corruption of Minors, M1; 2) Possession of a Controlled Substance, M; 3) Small Amount of Marijuana, M; and 4) Use/Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, 7 counts, M.
An Affidavit of Probable Cause filed by Officer Witherite states that on October 8, 2016, Officers were on routine patrol when they decided to check on a parked vehicle. At that time, Officers observed a male, later identified as Vereshack, to be in the driver’s seat and a juvenile to be in the passenger’s seat. Officers were able to observe various pieces of drug paraphernalia throughout the vehicle including, pipes, needles, and spoons. Subsequently, Officers discovered various controlled substances.
A Preliminary Hearing was held on November 23, 2016, at which time Vereshack failed to appear and warrant was issued for his arrest.
