CLEARFIELD – Clearfield County District Attorney, William A. Shaw, Jr., announced Clearfield County’s Fugitive of the Week for the week of July 24, 2017.

Shaw identified the Fugitive as Scott Hockenberry, age 40, of Locust Street, Clearfield, Pennsylvania.

Shaw stated that Hockenberry is wanted for failure to appear at Arraignment Court held on June 28, 2017, at which time a warrant was issued for his arrest. In addition, Hockenberry is wanted for failure to appear at Revocation Court held on June 26, 2017, at which time a warrant was issued for his arrest.

On April 26, 2017, Officer Daniel Podliski of the Clearfield Borough Police Department, filed a Criminal Complaint charging Hockenberry with: 1) Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance, F; 2) Criminal Use of a Communication Facility, F3; 3) Dealing in Proceeds of Unlawful Activies, F1; and 4) Possession of a Controlled Substance, M.

An Affidavit of Probable Cause filed by Officer Podliski states that on February 18, 2017, Officers executed a search warrant to further an investigation into the distribution of methamphetamine. Upon entering a local residence, Officers discovered methamphetamine, paraphernalia, and US currency. Subsequently, Officers conducted several interviews that implicated Hockenberry in the distribution of methamphetamine.

A Preliminary Hearing was held on June 7, 2017, at which all charges were held to court. On June 28, 2017, Hockenberry fail to appear for Arraignment Court, at which time a warrant was issued for his arrest.

In a separate case, Hockenberry is wanted for failure to appear at Revocation Court held on June 26, 2017, at which time a warrant was issued for his arrest.
