DA SHAW ANNOUNCES MAHAFFEY DRUG DEALER SENTENCED TO STATE PRISON

As a result of the four controlled purchases of heroin, Agents were able to obtain on search warrant for Fiasco’s residence. Upon execution of the search warrant, Agents recovered ten stamp bags of heroin, as well as $3,209.00 in U.S. Currency.

Fiasco tendered a plea of guilt to the charges, and on August 16, 2011 the Honorable Fredric J. Ammerman sentenced Fiasco to a minimum of  3 years and a maximum of 10 years incarceration in the State Prison System.

Following sentencing Shaw stated that this was an intense investigation in response to multiple reports from community members in the Mahaffey area.  Shaw stated that he is deeply concerned with this type of criminal conduct and noted that drug dealing has the ability to destroy communities.  Shaw thanked Agents from the Attorney General’s Office and Troopers from the Pennsylvania State Police for their hard work on this case.
