 Nadine Decker
Shaw identified the Fugitive as Nadine Decker, age 37, of Mingoville, Pennsylvania.
Decker was added to the Clearfield County Fugitive of the Week list on November 14, 2011.
On June 3, 2011, Patrolman Eric McBride of the Clearfield Borough Police Department, filed a Criminal Complaint charging Decker with:1) Theft By Deception, M2; and 2) Bad Checks, S.
An Affidavit of Probable Cause filed by Patrolman McBride states that in April 2011, the Clearfield Borough Police received a report of theft and bad checks from a Clearfield business. Upon investigation it was found that Decker had issued a check in order to obtain merchandise and services, however the check was returned for insufficient funds. Decker was advised that the check was returned, and failed to pay the amount owed to the business.
A Preliminary Hearing was scheduled for July 6, 2011, at which time Decker failed to appear and a warrant was issued for her arrest. Also on August 4, 2011, Decker failed to appear for Arraignment Court and a warrant was issued for her arrest.
Shaw stated that on November 15, 2011, Decker voluntarily surrendered herself to Deputies from the Clearfield County Sheriff's Office, and she was taken into custody.
Shaw thanked the Clearfield County Sheriff's Office for their assistance with this case.
