 Cody Rinehart
Shaw identified the Fugitive as Cody Rinehart, age 20, of Surveyor Road, Clearfield, Pennsylvania.
Rinehart was added to the Clearfield County Fugitive of the Week list on May 23, 2011.
On October 4, 2010, Trooper William Mostyn of the Pennsylvania State Police, Clearfield Barracks, filed a Criminal Complaint charging Rinehart with: 1) Theft By Unlawful Taking, F3; and 2) Receiving Stolen Property, F3.
An Affidavit of Probable Cause filed by Trooper Mostyn states that in July 2010, the Pennsylvania State Police began an investigation into the theft of an ATV. Upon investigation, it was found that Rinehart had unlawfully removed an ATV from the victim's property. The ATV was later recovered but had sustained damage.
A Preliminary Hearing was scheduled for October 27, 2010, at which time all charges were held for Court. On May 13, 2011, Rinehart failed to appear for Criminal Call and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
Shaw stated that on June 22, 2011, Deputies from the Clearfield County Sheriff's Office apprehended Rinehart, and he was taken into custody without incident. Rinehart is currently lodged in the Clearfield County jail.
Shaw thanked the Clearfield County Sheriff's Office for their hard work and assistance with this case.
