WANTED FOR DUBOIS BURGLARY |

Shaw reported that on January 25, 2011 the DuBois City Police Department was dispatched to a Love Street residence for the report of a burglary that had just occurred. Shaw stated that the victim reported that she arrived at her residence and found that the rear door was ajar. Upon entering her residence the victim found that an unknown male was inside her home, and that the male asked her if she had found his dog. The male then ran from the residence, heading towards Patterson Avenue.
Upon investigation it was found that jewelry was missing from the victim's home. The victim also relayed that the male had an "olive" complexion and was wearing a green hooded sweatshirt or jacket and blue jeans.
Shaw stated that on February 17, 2011, the DuBois City Police Department received a report of a burglary at a residence on Patterson Avenue. Upon arrival at the scene, Officers reported that there was forced entry to the front door of the residence. Officers secured the residence and did not locate anyone inside. The victim relayed that a bottle of prescription medicine and a coin collection were missing from his home.
Shaw further stated that Officers from the DuBois City Police Department were again dispatched to a residence on Patterson Avenue on February 22, 2011, where a resident reported that an unknown male had knocked on the back door of her residence. The resident reported that the male was approximately 5'6" and was wearing a greenish brown jacket with a hood with a camouflage jacket underneath. The resident further described the male as approximately seventeen years old, tan skin, and having a "pudgy" face.
Shaw noted that the DuBois City Police Department is working very hard to resolve this matter. Shaw stated that he is confident the police will have this case cleared in the near future and is asking the community to help by providing information to assist with the case.
Shaw stated that the that Clearfield County Crime Stoppers is seeking information relating to the burglaries. Shaw reported that the Clearfield County Crime Stoppers will pay a reward of up to $1,000.00 for information leading to the arrest of the person or persons responsible for the burglaries.
