William J. Matthews CLEARFIELD – Clearfield County District Attorney, William A. Shaw, Jr., announced the capture of a wanted fugitive.
Shaw identified the Fugitive as William J. Matthews, age 25, of Latrobe, Pennsylvania.
Williams was added to the Clearfield County Fugitive of the Week list on March 7, 2011.
On September 22, 2009, Officer Peter Largey of the Sandy Township Police Department, filed a Criminal Complaint charging Williams with: 1) Driving Under the Influence, M; and 2) Reckless Driving, S.
An Affidavit of Probable Cause filed by Officer Largey states that on August 30, 2009, the Sandy Township Police Department responded to the scene of a one vehicle accident on Coral Reef Road.
