ImageBRISBIN – Clearfield County District Attorney, William A. Shaw, Jr., announced today
that the Pennsylvania State Police have assembled a major case team to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death of an elderly Brisbin woman.

Shaw reported that at this time the cause of death appears to be natural.  However, Shaw noted that "there are one or two issues that need resolved for a clear understanding of how this death occured".  Shaw stated that he was "confident that the State Police would have this matter resolved in the very near future".

Shaw also stated that an autopsy is being conducted and the results will answer several questions law enforcement have concerning this case. Shaw anticipates the autopsy to be completed this morning.
