DUBOIS - On November 16, 2010, Clearfield County District Attorney, William A. Shaw, Jr., was the guest speaker at a meeting for the Rotary Club of Dubois.

Shaw spoke to the Rotary Club members about the Clearfield County District Attorney's Office Crimestoppers- Fugitive of the Week initiative. DA Shaw explained the benefits of the program, focusing on the ability of community  members to anonymously provide useful information to law enforcement. Shaw also discussed the success of the program thus far, highlighting the number of successful captures made of fugitives who had been listed as the Fugitive of the Week.  

Additionally, Shaw spoke about the increase in the number of white-collar crimes in the area, noting that the victims of several of these particular crimes are nonprofit organizations. Shaw also answered questions from the Rotary Club members and outlined procedures of the Clearfield County District Attorney's Office.
