  CLEARFIELD – Clearfield County District Attorney, William A. Shaw, Jr., announced the capture of a wanted fugitive.

Shaw identified the fugitive as Jeffery Rexford Powell,  age 65, of Country Club Road, Clearfield, Pennsylvania.

Powell was added to the Clearfield County Fugitive of the Week list on April 26, 2010.

Shaw stated that Deputies from the United States Marshal Service took Powell into custody on June 21, 2010, after locating Powell at a residence in Arlee, Montana.

Shaw reported that on June 10, 2010, the Clearfield County Crimestoppers received an anonymous tip reporting that Powell was possibly living in or around Missoula, Montana.  Through investigative leads, the Clearfield County Sheriff's Department was able to determine a possible location for Powell.  The Sheriff's Department coordinated efforts with the U.S. Marshal Service in Johnstown to positively identify Powell's location.  The U.S. Marshal Service Fugitive Task Force apprehended Powell without incident.

Powell is facing charges in Clearfield County of: 1) Aggravated Assault by Vehicle while DUI, F2, 5 counts; 2) DUI, M1; 3) Recklessly Endangering Another Person, M2, 5 counts; 4) Careless Driving, S; 5) Driving on Right Side of Roadways, S; 6) Driving on Roadways Laned for Traffic, S; and 7) Reckless Driving, S.

CLEARFIELD – Clearfield County District Attorney, William A. Shaw, Jr., announced the capture of a wanted fugitive.

Shaw identified the fugitive as Iris Suzette Mack, age 30, of DuBois Street, DuBois, Pennsylvania.

Mack was added to the Clearfield County Fugitive of the Week list on April 19, 2010. 

Shaw stated that on May 19, 2010, Mack voluntarily surrender herself to Deputies from the Clearfield County Sheriff's Office after remaining on the Fugitive of the Week list for five weeks.

Mack was placed on the Fugitive of the Week List after failing to appear for Arraignment Court on May 7, 2009.

Mack is charged with Theft by Unlawful Taking and Criminal Conspiracy.  An Affidavit of Probable Cause filed by Trooper William Mostyn of the Pennsylvania State police, Woodland Barracks, states that  Mack and others entered the Kohute Laundry, located in Houtzdale, Pennsylvania, and forced open coin operated dryers.  Mack was charged for stealing money from the machines, as well as for damage done to the machines.

Mack is currently housed in the Clearfield County Jail awaiting formal Arraignment.  Shaw stated that Mack's trial will be scheduled to commence within 180 days.

CLEARFIELD – Clearfield County District Attorney, William A. Shaw, Jr., announced the capture of a wanted fugitive.

Shaw identified the fugitive as Patricia Aites, age 43, of Locust Street, DuBois, Pennsylvania..

Aites was added to the Clearfield County Fugitive of the Week list on May 24, 2010. 

Shaw stated that Aites voluntarily surrender herself to Deputies from the Clearfield County Sheriff's Office on May 25, 2010, after learning that she had been placed on the Fugitive of Week list.  Aites is currently housed in the Clearfield County jail.

Aites is facing a criminal charge in Clearfield County of: 1) Theft of Leased Property, M1.  The charges relates to a criminal complaint filed by the Sandy Township Police Department after  Aites leased a King Trumpet from Fritz Piano & Organs and failed to pay for the trumpet after receiving notice.

Shaw reported that Aites will be placed on the criminal trial list with trial to occur within the next four months.

CLEARFIELD – Clearfield County District Attorney, William A. Shaw, Jr., announced that a Fugitive of the Week has been captured.

Shaw identified the Fugitive as Rose Marie Rauch, age 37, of Byers Street, Clearfield, Pennsylvania.

Rauch was added to the Clearfield County Fugitive of the Week list on May 3, 2010.

Shaw stated that Rauch was apprehended on May 6, 2010, at a homeless shelter in Port Charlotte Florida.  The arrest came as the result of an anonymous tip received by the Clearfield County Crimestoppers reporting the possible location of Rauch.  After receiving the tip, the Clearfield County Sheriff's Office requested the Sheriff's Department from Charlotte County, Florida, to investigate the possibility that Rauch may be staying at the shelter.  The Charlotte County Sheriff's Department took Rauch into custody without incident.

Rauch is currently being held in the Charlotte County jail awaiting extradition to Clearfield County.

Rauch is facing criminal charges in two separate incidents. 

In the first case, Rauch is charged with: 1) Burglary, F2; 2) Criminal Conspiracy, F2; 3) Theft by Unlawful Taking, F3; and 4) Receiving Stolen Property.  The charges relate to the  September 18, 2008, burglary of  Ken's Stop  & Shop located in Glen Hope Borough.

CLEARFIELD – Clearfield County District Attorney, William A. Shaw, Jr., announced that a Fugitive of the Week has been captured.

Shaw identified the Fugitive as Bradley Allen Teats, age 27, of Clarendon Avenue, Hyde, Pennsylvania.

Teats was added to the Clearfield County Fugitive of the Week list on April 5, 2010.  Shaw reported that within eight hours of being placed on the list, Teats was in custody.

Shaw stated that the Lawrence Township Police Department received a tip from a caller reporting that Teats was at the caller's residence.  The caller stated that Teats would turn himself in.  At approximately 7:51 p.m., on April 5th, Teats appeared at the Lawrence Township Police Department and voluntarily surrendered himself after learning that he had been named as the Fugitive of the Week.
