CLEARFIELD – Clearfield County District Attorney, William A. Shaw, Jr., announced the capture of a wanted fugitive. Shaw identified the Fugitive as Austin Patterson, age 21, of 4th Street, Clearfield, Pennsylvania. Patterson was added to the Clearfield County Fugitive of the Week list on November 2, 2015. On September 24, 2015, Patrolman Elliott Neeper of the Lawrence Township Police Department, filed a Criminal Complaint charging Patterson with: 1) Burglary, F2; 2) Criminal Trespass, F2; 3) Theft by Unlawful Taking, F3; 4) Receiving Stolen Property, F3; and 5) Criminal Mischief, M3. CLEARFIELD – Clearfield County District Attorney, William A. Shaw, Jr., announced the capture of a wanted fugitive. Shaw identified the Fugitive as Shannon Brink, age 39, of Westover Road, Westover, Pennsylvania. Brink was added to the Clearfield County Fugitive of the Week list on October 26, 2015. CAPTURED – BENJAMIN COLYER

CLEARFIELD – Clearfield County District Attorney, William A. Shaw, Jr., announced the capture of a wanted fugitive. Shaw identified the Fugitive as Benjamin Colyer, age 20, of Lilly Street, Philipsburg, Pennsylvania. Colyer was added to the Clearfield County Fugitive of the Week list on August 10, 2015. On May 25, 2015, Patrolman Adam Raybuck of the Clearfield Borough Police Department, filed a Criminal Complaint charging Colyer with: 1) Theft by Unlawful Taking, M2; 2) Theft by Deception, M2; and 3) Receiving Stolen Property, M2. An Affidavit of Probable Cause filed by Patrolman Raybuck states that on April 25, 2015, Clearfield Borough Police received a complaint that someone had stolen 15 video games from the victim. CAPTURED – THEODORE WELLS

CLEARFIELD – Clearfield County District Attorney, William A. Shaw, Jr., announced the capture of a wanted fugitive. Shaw identified the Fugitive as Theodore Wells, age 27, of Highland Street, Dubois, Pennsylvania. Wells was added to the Clearfield County Fugitive of the Week list on June 8, 2015. On November 18, 2014, Trooper Jason McKee of the Pennsylvania State Police, Dubois Barracks, filed a Criminal Complaint charging Wells with: 1) Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, M; 2) Driving Vehicle at Safe Speed, S; 3) Careless Driving, S; and 4) Occupant Protection, S. An Affidavit of Probable Cause filed by Trooper McKee states that on March 28, 2014, the Pennsylvania State Police, Dubois Barracks, were dispatched to Highland Avenue, Brady Township, for the report of a vehicle accident. Upon arrival, Trooper McKee observed a vehicle with extensive damage. Upon making contact with the operator of the vehicle, identified as Wells, signs of impairment were detected. CAPTURED – MELANIE HARTMAN

CLEARFIELD – Clearfield County District Attorney, William A. Shaw, Jr., announced the capture of a wanted fugitive. Shaw identified the Fugitive as Melanie Hartman, age 23, of Forcey Road, Woodland, Pennsylvania. Hartman was added to the Clearfield County Fugitive of the Week list on June 22, 2015. On July 14, 2014, Patrolman Nathan Curry of the Clearfield Borough Police Department, filed a Criminal Complaint charging Hartman with: 1) Access Device Fraud, M1; and 2) Receiving Stolen Property, M1. An Affidavit of Probable Cause filed by Patrolman Curry states that on July 5, 2014, Clearfield Borough Police were dispatched for a report of a theft from a motor vehicle. The victim related that someone had removed cash and the victim’s wallet containing a check card and other personal items. Upon investigation, it was determined that Hartman, and other individuals, used the victim’s check card to make several purchases and were declined in other attempted purchases. Continue reading

CAPTURED – ROBERT SELFRIDGE

CLEARFIELD – Clearfield County District Attorney, William A. Shaw, Jr., announced the capture of a wanted fugitive. Shaw identified the Fugitive as Robert Selfridge, age 35, of Main Street, Falls Creek, Pennsylvania. Selfridge was added to the Clearfield County Fugitive of the Week list on July 20, 2015. On February 23, 2015, Sergeant Kris Kruzelak of the Sandy Township Police Department, filed a Criminal Complaint charging Selfridge with: 1) Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance, F; 2) Person Not To Possess Firearms, F2; 3) Firearms Not To Be Carried Without a License, F3; 4) Possession of a Controlled Substance, M; 5) Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana, M; and 6) Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, M. An Affidavit of Probable Cause filed by Sergeant Kruzelak states that on February 19, 2015, Sandy Township Police were dispatched to a local hotel for the report of an activated fire alarm. Upon arrival at the hotel, officers were advised that smoke and an odor of marijuana was coming from a room that had caused the alarm to be activated. Officers were further advised that a male, later identified as Selfridge, remained in the room and placed unknown items into two duffle bags before placing them in a car. After receiving a search warrant for the vehicle, officers discovered three handguns, drug paraphernalia, and various controlled substances including; methamphetamine, cocaine, marijuana, and prescription pills. CAPTURED – DESTINY GASBARRE

CLEARFIELD – Clearfield County District Attorney, William A. Shaw, Jr., announced the capture of a wanted fugitive. Shaw identified the Fugitive as Destiny Gasbarre, age 26, of Rumbarger Avenue, Dubois, Pennsylvania. Gasbarre was added to the Clearfield County Fugitive of the Week list on July 27, 2015. On February 6, 2015, Officer Travis Goodman of the Sandy Township Police Department, filed a Criminal Complaint charging Gasbarre with multiple counts of: 1) Forgery, F3; 2) Access Device Fraud, M2; 3) Theft by Unlawful Taking, M2; and 4) Receiving Stolen Property, M3. An Affidavit of Probable Cause filed by Officer Goodman states that on October 3, 2014, the victim reported to police that her check card had been stolen. Upon investigation, it was discovered that Gasbarre had used the check card to make numerous purchases at several different locations. The total amount charged to the account was $2,877.83. CAPTURED – JOHN LYTLE, Jr

CLEARFIELD – Clearfield County District Attorney, William A. Shaw, Jr., announced the capture of a wanted fugitive. Shaw identified the Fugitive as John Lytle Jr., age 34, of Drane Highway, Osceola Mills, Pennsylvania. Lytle was added to the Clearfield County Fugitive of the Week list on June 2, 2015. On September 30, 2014, Trooper Michael Meko of the Pennsylvania State Police - Clearfield Barracks, filed a Criminal Complaint charging Lytle with: 1) Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, M; 2) Driving While Operating Privilege is Suspended or Revoked, S; 3) Driving on Roadways Laned for Traffic, S; 4) Careless Driving, S; and 5) Restrictions on Alcoholic Beverages, S. An Affidavit of Probable Cause filed by Trooper Meko states that on September 20, 2014, while on routine patrol, he observed a vehicle weaving in and out of its lane of travel. Trooper Meko activated his emergency lights and conducted a traffic stop. Upon making contact with the operator, identified as Lytle, signs of impairment were observed. CLEARFIELD – Clearfield County District Attorney, William A. Shaw, Jr., announced the capture of a wanted fugitive. Shaw identified the Fugitive as Brittany Mercedes Ross, age 23, of Spring Avenue, DuBois, Pennsylvania. Ross was added to the Clearfield County Fugitive of the Week list on March 31, 2015. On February 13, 2015, Sergeant Dustin R. Roy of the DuBois City Police Department, filed a Criminal Complaint charging Ross with: 1) Burglary, F1; 2) Criminal Conspiracy, F1; 3) Criminal Trespass, F2; and 4) Theft by Unlawful Taking, M1.
