CAPTURED – WILLIAM LAMB, SR.

CLEARFIELD – Clearfield County District Attorney, William A. Shaw, Jr., announced the capture of a wanted fugitive.

Shaw identified the Fugitive as William John Lamb, Sr., age 43, of Copelin Road, Philipsburg, Pennsylvania.

Lamb was added to the Clearfield County Fugitive of the Week list on November 5, 2012.

On September 9, 2011, Chief Timothy O'Leary of the Decatur Township Police Department, filed a Criminal Complaint charging Lamb with:1) Theft By Unlawful Taking, F3; 2) Receiving Stolen Property, F3; and 3) Criminal Trespass, F3.

An Affidavit of Probable Cause filed by Chief O'Leary states that on August 16, 2011, the Decatur Township Police Department received a report of a theft of various pieces of metal from a residence located on Copelin Road in Decatur Township. Upon investigation it was found that Lamb had unlawfully removed approximately $2,800.00 worth of metal from the victim's property.

FUGITIVE OF THE WEEK – December 3, 2012

CLEARFIELD – Clearfield County District Attorney, William A. Shaw, Jr., announced Clearfield County's Fugitive of the Week for the week of December 3, 2012.

Shaw identified the Fugitive as Jason McGonigal, age 26, of Coal Run Road, Osceola Mills, Pennsylvania.

Shaw stated that McGonigal is wanted for failure to appear at Arraignment Court on November 21, 2012.

On September 25, 2012, Officer Michael Davidson of the DuBois City Police Department, filed a Criminal Complaint charging McGonigal with: 1) Forgery, F3, 4 Counts; 2) Access Device Fraud, M1, 4 Counts; and 3) Theft By Deception, M1, 2 Counts.

An Affidavit of Probable Cause filed by Officer Michael Davidson states that on September 10, 2012, the DuBois City Police Department received a report of theft and forgery. Upon investigation it was found that McGonigal had unlawfully removed approximately $700.00 from the victim's bank account. McGonigal had used the victim's account number and signed the victim's name in order to obtain the money. Additionally, video surveillance showed McGonigal as the person completing the transactions.
