CAPTURED – JAMIE McCLELLAN

CLEARFIELD – Clearfield County District Attorney, William A. Shaw, Jr., announced the capture of a wanted fugitive.

Shaw identified the Fugitive as Jamie Lynn McClellan, age 32, of Roseland Road, Glasgow, Pennsylvania.

McClellan was added to the Clearfield County Fugitive of the Week list on September 24, 2012.

On March 26, 2012, Trooper David Patrick of the Pennsylvania State Police, Clearfield Barracks, filed six Criminal Complaints charging McClellan with: 1) Burglary, F2, 1 Count; 2) Criminal Conspiracy to Commit Burglary, F1/F2, 6 Counts; 3) Criminal Trespass, F2, 1 Count; 4) Criminal Conspiracy to Commit Criminal Trespass, F2, 6 Counts; 4) Theft By Unlawful Taking, M1, 14 Counts; 5) Receiving Stolen Property, M1, 14 Counts; 6) Theft By Unlawful Taking, M2, 3 Counts; and 7) Receiving Stolen Property, M2, 3 Counts.

The Criminal Complaints provide that in December 2011 and January 2012 the Pennsylvania State Police began an investigation into six separate burglaries that occurred in Beccaria Township, Chest Township, Houtzdale Borough, and Coalport Borough. Upon further investigation, it was found that McClellan and 4 other actors had broken into several area businesses, a camp, and the Glendale Sportsmen's Club. McClellan and the other actors unlawfully removed over $11,000.00 worth of items from the various locations.

FUGITIVE OF THE WEEK – September 24, 2012

CLEARFIELD – Clearfield County District Attorney, William A. Shaw, Jr., announced Clearfield County's Fugitive of the Week for the week of September 24, 2012.

Shaw identified the Fugitive as Jamie Lynn McClellan, age 32, of Roseland Road, Glasgow, Pennsylvania.

Shaw stated that McClellan is wanted in six separate cases for failure to appear at Plea and Sentencing Court on September 11, 2012.

On March 26, 2012, Trooper David Patrick of the Pennsylvania State Police, Clearfield Barracks, filed six Criminal Complaints charging McClellan with: 1) Burglary, F2, 1 Count; 2) Criminal Conspiracy to Commit Burglary, F1/F2, 6 Counts; 3) Criminal Trespass, F2, 1 Count; 4) Criminal Conspiracy to Commit Criminal Trespass, F2, 6 Counts; 4) Theft By Unlawful Taking, M1, 14 Counts; 5) Receiving Stolen Property, M1, 14 Counts; 6) Theft By Unlawful Taking, M2, 3 Counts; and 7) Receiving Stolen Property, M2, 3 Counts.

FUGITIVE OF THE WEEK – September 17, 2012

CAPTURED

CLEARFIELD – Clearfield County District Attorney, William A. Shaw, Jr., announced Clearfield County's Fugitive of the Week for the week of September 17, 2012.

Shaw identified the Fugitive as Barry Martell, age 23, of Shirey Road, Frenchville, Pennsylvania.

Shaw stated that Martell is wanted in two separate cases for failure to appear at a Preliminary Hearing on August 22, 2012 and for failure to appear at Criminal Call on September 6, 2012.

On April 20, 2012, Trooper Adam Gibson of the Pennsylvania State Police, Clearfield Barracks, filed a Criminal Complaint charging Martell with:1) Theft By Unlawful Taking or Disposition, F3; 2) Receiving Stolen Property, F3; and 3) Corruption of Minors, M1.

An Affidavit of Probable Cause filed by Trooper Gibson states that on April 5, 2012, the Pennsylvania State Police received a report of a theft from a coal site located on Knobs Road in Goshen Township. Upon investigation, it was found that Martell and two other individuals had unlawfully removed various pieces of equipment from the location valued at over $35,000.00.  

A Preliminary Hearing was held on June 27, 2012, at which time all charges were held to court. On September 6, 2012, Martell failed to appear for Criminal Call and a warrant was issued for his arrest.

FUGITIVE OF THE WEEK – September 4, 2012

CLEARFIELD – Clearfield County District Attorney, William A. Shaw, Jr., announced Clearfield County's Fugitive of the Week for the week of September 4, 2012.

Shaw identified the Fugitive as Krisa Marie Schake, age 27, of North Third Street, Clearfield, Pennsylvania.

Shaw stated that Schake is wanted for failure to appear at Criminal Call on July 12, 2012.

On April 29, 2011, Patrolman Crystal Panebianco of the Lawrence Township Police Department, filed a Criminal Complaint charging Schake with: 1) Retail Theft, F3; and 2) Receiving Stolen Property, M2.

An Affidavit of Probable Cause filed by Patrolman Panebianco states that on March 21, 2011, the Lawrence Township Police Department received a report of a theft from a business located on South Second Street in Lawrence Township. Upon investigation, it was found that Schake and another individual had unlawfully taken merchandise from the store. Continue reading
