FUGITIVE OF THE WEEK – November 21, 2011

CAPTURED

CLEARFIELD – Clearfield County District Attorney, William A. Shaw, Jr., announced Clearfield County's Fugitive of the Week for the week of November 21, 2011.

Shaw identified the Fugitive as Cory Eminhizer, age 30, of Grassflat Avenue, Grassflat, Pennsylvania.

Shaw stated that Eminhizer is wanted for failure to appear at Criminal Call on November 17, 2011.

On May 26, 2011, Trooper Robert Straw of the Pennsylvania State Police, Clearfield Barracks, filed a Criminal Complaint charging Eminhizer with:1) Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol or Controlled Substance, M; 2) Registration and Certificate of Title Required, S; 3) Driving While Operating Privilege is Suspended or Revoked, S; 4) Required Financial Responsibility, S; 5) Driving On Roadways Laned for Traffic, S; and 6) Operation of Vehicle Without Official Certificate of Inspection, S.

An Affidavit of Probable Cause filed by Trooper Straw states that on May 19, 2011, the Pennsylvania State Police responded to the scene of a one vehicle accident on Main Street in Cooper Township. Upon making contact with the driver of the vehicle, Straw detected signs of impairment and requested that Eminhizer perform field sobriety tests.  After administering the field sobriety tests, Eminhizer was transported for blood alcohol testing.

CAPTURED – NADINE DECKER

CLEARFIELD – Clearfield County District Attorney, William A. Shaw, Jr., announced the capture of a wanted fugitive.

Shaw identified the Fugitive as Nadine Decker, age 37, of Mingoville, Pennsylvania.

Decker was added to the Clearfield County Fugitive of the Week list on November 14, 2011.

On June 3, 2011, Patrolman Eric McBride of the Clearfield Borough Police Department, filed a Criminal Complaint charging Decker with:1) Theft By Deception, M2; and 2) Bad Checks, S.

An Affidavit of Probable Cause filed by Patrolman McBride states that in April 2011, the Clearfield Borough Police received a report of theft and bad checks from a Clearfield business. Upon investigation it was found that Decker had issued a check in order to obtain merchandise and services, however the check was returned for insufficient funds. Decker was advised that the check was returned, and failed to pay the amount owed to the business.

CAPTURED

CLEARFIELD – Clearfield County District Attorney, William A. Shaw, Jr., announced Clearfield County's Fugitive of the Week for the week of November 14, 2011.

Shaw identified the Fugitive as Nadine Decker, age 37, of Mingoville, Pennsylvania.

Shaw stated that Decker is wanted for failure to appear at a Preliminary Hearing on July 6, 2011 and for failure to appear at Arraignment Court on August 4, 2011.

On June 3, 2011, Patrolman Eric McBride of the Clearfield Borough Police Department, filed a Criminal Complaint charging Decker with:1) Theft By Deception, M2; and 2) Bad Checks, S.

FUGITIVE OF THE WEEK – November 7, 2011

CAPTURED

CLEARFIELD – Clearfield County District Attorney, William A. Shaw, Jr., announced Clearfield County's Fugitive of the Week for the week of November 7, 2011.

Shaw identified the Fugitive as Brian Stone, age 32, of Williams Road, Morrisdale, Pennsylvania.

Shaw stated that Stone is wanted for failure to appear at a Preliminary Hearing on November 24, 2010.

On October 12, 2010, Trooper Thomas Granville of the Pennsylvania State Police, Clearfield Barracks, filed a Criminal Complaint charging Stone with:1) Theft By Unlawful Taking, F3; 2) Unauthorized Use of Automobiles and Other Vehicles, M2; 3) Criminal Trespass, S; and 4) Criminal Mischief, S.

An Affidavit of Probable Cause filed by Trooper Granville states that in July 2010, the Pennsylvania State Police began an investigation into a theft that occurred at a coal site located in Hawk Run, Morris Township. Upon investigation, it was found that Stone and another individual had unlawfully entered onto the victim's property and removed various items valued at approximately $4,850.00.
